At Portland Quarry, we take pride in producing high-quality aggregates from our 65-hectare quarry on Vissershok Road, Durbanville, drawing from the natural Malmesbury Hornfels deposits. We place great importance on the cubical shape of our stone, as it is crucial for ensuring top-notch concrete quality. Our operations are managed under the Mine Health and Safety Act and are ISO 9001:2015 certified.

From Rock Face To Your Site
Controlled blasting, carried out with our group partner Dynamite Nobel, breaks down the Malmesbury Hornfels rock face.
Raw rock is crushed and reduced in size on-site at our 65-hectare Durbanville quarry.
Material is screened and graded into our full aggregate range, from 7mm single-sized stone to G5/G7 subbase.
Graded product is stockpiled and loaded for collection or delivery across the Western Cape.
