Portland Group is seeking a full-time Readymix Sales / Service Representative for our service area in Paarl and surrounding areas.

We operate in a fast-paced, high-performance, and target-driven environment. We are looking for a self-driven, disciplined, and presentable individual with strong sales and relationship-building skills to take on this role.

This position focuses on driving sales, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring effective service delivery within the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing sales plans to achieve targets
• Maintaining knowledge of current and future industry trends
• Applying strong customer service principles and practices
• Providing weekly reporting in the prescribed format
• Building, developing, and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Ensuring all sales administration is accurate and up to date
• Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams
• Achieving sales targets through a self-driven and disciplined approach
• Maintaining a professional and presentable image

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric qualification
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the concrete supply industry
• Strong knowledge of the building industry
• Computer literacy
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills (face-to-face, telephonic, and email)
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
• Own reliable transport (non-negotiable)
• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Strong work ethic and professional conduct
